DYNAMIC COINS

The development of this effect started with the time-honored "Nickles to Dimes." However, by introducing two of the same props, the trick transformed into a very strong piece of magic that appears to be completely new. In addition to making the coins vanish, these props allow numerous effects to be performed, including translocations and penetrations. For this reason, this trick has been a best seller since it was first introduced. It contains all of the elements that we at Tenyo strive for when creating excellent magic: 1) it is easy enough for anyone to perform, 2) it uses everyday items, 3) it can be carried in your pocket, 4) it can be repeated, and (5) the props may be handed out for examination by spectators.

MAGIC CARDS

This trick has been in existence for ages, and the creator is therefore unknown. When producing these cards, we carefully considered how to mark them in such a way that the marks would be invisible to spectators, but instantly readable by the magician. The back design we developed may indeed be the last word in marked cards.

FLASH DICE

This effect is based on the old trick known as "Sure Shot Dice." In that trick, two dice are placed inside of a round case, and shaken up. The magician is then able to determine how many spots are on the top of each die. The case used in this trick is rather delicate, and when we analyzed the principle involved, we realized that it was very simple, and that there was no need for the case to be round. When we changed the case into a rectangular shape, and increased the number of dice, it became possible to perform several completely different effects. The wonderful theme of "controlling the random roll of dice" has made this trick a best seller over the years. It contains many of the elements that we at Tenyo strive for when creating excellent magic: 1) it is easy enough for anyone to perform, 2) it uses everyday items, 3) it can be carried in your pocket, and 4) it can be repeated.

ZIG ZAG CIG

Ever since Robert Harbin just performed his Zig Zag illusion, many magicians have created Zig Zag type effects that substitute another objects, aside from a woman, to be sliced up! ZIG ZAG CIG is a close-up version of this illusion that substitutes a cigarette for the woman. The visible movement (sliding the center piece of the case to one side) corresponds exactly with the movement necessary to move the secret gimmick, which makes the mechanism of this trick completely automatic. The concept of not requiring any additional movements to make the trick work is an appealing one, since it means that anyone can perform the effect easily. We believe that this is the ultimate match of form and function. This type of 'fully automatic' magic also may be seen in tricks that were developed later, such as SIDETRACK and ECLIPSE.

CHINESE LINKING RINGS (available only in Japan)

This is a classic among classics, and the originator is unknown. These rings are simply a smaller version of the large rings used on stage, making them available at a reasonable price. However, we have also developed several subtle techniques that have previously been impossible to perform with the large rings. These rings have established this effect not only as stage magic, but as close-up magic as well.
