| TRISECTOR |
Ever since the Zig Zag illusion was invented, many magicians have thought of ways to perform the same effect with different objects. While other tricks have already used paper money as the prop to be "zig-zagged," Toru Suzuki's method produces the closest image to the original illusion.

| POP-UP CARD |
This item was conceived while looking at numerous pop-up books; we wondered if it would be possible to transfer the pop-up principle to a box. Initially, only three cards from the entire deck were removed, and the spectator was asked to remember one of those cards. The thought-of card was then made to rise out of the box. Later, Toru Suzuki came up with the concept of showing a 12-card packet, and allowing a completely free choice of the cards. In its present form, this trick will fool almost every magician who sees it.

| PUZZLING QUEEN |
This trick was conceived when searching for the limits of moving the gimmick from the hidden state to the visible state. We completed the product by repeating operations that are similar to the tessellation art that M.C. Escher pursued.

| IMPOSSIBLE PEN |
When Lubor Fiedler was originally experimenting with the materials used to construct this trick, one of the items rolled along the tabletop and fell to the floor. He searched for the prop, but could not find it anywhere. When he finally located the item in an unexpected place, he hit upon the idea for a new trick. The principle itself is truly marvelous, and the time misdirection that is used within the presentation is very well thought out.

| ANTIGRAVITY ROCK |
When Lubor Fiedler obtained the right materials, he discovered the theme and method for making a rock float. Many creators would normally stop right there. However, as those of you who own this item are already aware, this idea does not hold much conviction if the rock simply appears to be floating. In the same manner that a stage illusion was created to allow a metal ring to be passed around a floating lady, proving that she is really suspended in space, Lubor created a method to prove that there is nothing supporting the floating rock.

| MINI-MORPHOSIS |
One technique for creating a masterpiece is to convert a stage illusion into a close-up magic effect. The reason for this is that many people have already seen that stage illusion on television, so there is built-in interest for the effect, even if the actual props are different. MINI-MORPHOSIS is a miniature version of the well-known "Metamorphosis" illusion, a trick that many creators have been challenged with. This method from Angelo Carbone of England caught the interest of Tenyo's staff, since its image and presentation were so similar to the stage illusion.
Tenyo first had contact with Angelo in 1997. At that time, we had heard about a brilliant magic inventor who lived in England. It turned out that Angelo was a collector of Tenyo products, and had already created numerous tricks that he felt could become Tenyo products. We began communicating with each other, and he later sent us a performance video of his original tricks. The Tenyo staff was so impressed by the contents of this videotape that we made a special trip to England prior to the FISM magic convention held in Dresden, Germany. We visited Angelo's home in London, and selected several tricks from among the dozens of marvelous ideas he showed us, which we considered as potential product ideas. Angelo entrusted us with his hand-made models, which we took back with us to Japan. Needless to say, MINI-MORPHOSIS was in that group of models.
